Suffering No More!

Finally, pain and nausea free!  I have been on a roller coaster of diets, weight loss, weight gain and more dieting; but NEVER free from belly discomfort or the feeling of nausea the entire time I was doing this.  I had at some point or another eliminated eggs, dairy, eggs AND dairy, red meat, and anything else you could think of.  And still the suffering continued.

Then I started reading about the elimination of grains...ALL grains.  I don't have Celiac or Crohn's Disease, nor do I have irritable bowel syndrome.  What I have is a body that refuses to like and properly digest grains.

Eureka!  What other people have been doing for years (actually, millions of years...) I finally decided to try myself.  I started reading some great blogs in my search for recipes and came across so much information that I was overwhelmed.  I decided to give it a shot.

One full week into this and I've lost 5 pounds.  Seriously.  Without trying.  Sure, it's probably water weight, but still...weight is coming off instead of gluing itself to my body.  Really nothing has changed except for the fact that I eliminated GRAINS!  And NO MORE BELLY DISCOMFORT!

I'm not a chef but I do like to cook.  Hence, the cookbooks I love are posted.  What I'd like to do with this blog is share what great info I have found with the rest of the people who wish to do be grain free.  So I hope you all enjoy as I keep posting new info for all of us who have become Grain Free to be Me!
